The rim of this front nearside Alloy wheel is dented where it has hit a curb, the rest of the rim is scuffed leaving deep gouges in the metal. The paint finish is stained with brake dust and has started to blister.
Although the front nearside wheel was the worst for scuff damage, all four wheels needed complete wheel refurbishment. Often it is possible to just repair and retouch the rim of a wheel, but when the paintwork is stained it is best to respray the entire wheel for a colour match.
The finished wheel looking like brand new. At this point it worth applying Metalmate or AlloyWax to help keep it that way. Alloy wheel sealants help protect against staining from road salts and brake dust.
