General wear on Leather Bolster.

Wear on a seat bolster -- Without a doubt the most common problem but easy to repair if caught early enough.

Leather reconditioning, and recolouring using new and traditional methods.

At New Again, we now have two methods for recolouring leather, There is the traditional method called 'Connollising' and 'Buttonizing™' which is a new method.

Modern Connollising

Named after the Connolly leather company, connollising is the traditional way that leather is coloured. This is the traditional method to restore your leather back to the factory finish. [more]

Buttonizing

The dyes used in Buttonizing™ are exceptionally strong and hardwearing. Although more expensive than Connollising, it has two distinct advantages - you can actually change the colour of leather, and you can have specialised colours such as flip-tones which change colour in the light. [more]

Leather Repairs

We are able to carry out minor repairs to scuffs and cigarette burns as part of both of the above methods. For rips, holes and loose stitching you may need the services of a Coach Trimmer. You can send us a photo and we will advise.
