This edge of a seat has received extra wear because it is brushed against when the driver enters and exits the vehicle. Shown in the photo on the right is the area after connollising.

Because the area of leather underneath is damaged, it will never be quite as strong as the original but it will be fairly hard wearing under normal conditions, but often this kind of damage is not caused by 'normal conditions' and can happen to the original leather over a short period of time. If the damage has been caused by sliding into your car while wearing jeans with rivets, maybe it's time re-think old habits, or else the damage will just re-appear.
If you do decide to turn over a new leaf, You can have a trimmer/upholsterers replace the damaged panel with fresh new leather, this can then be connollised for colour continuity.

These prices are examples based on typical car sizes and typical levels of trim with typical wear. We will quote each job on an individual basis. Cars with bi-coloured seats or exceptional wear may cost more and take longer.

*Cars with coloured piping or bi-coloured seats take far longer to do, and we will usually need the car for two days.
