Your Responsibilities
Your Contract
When you lease a car, you are entering into a contract. This contract will give you certain responsibilities to take care of the car and return it in a certain condition - as with any contract you should read the small print.
Different lease companies will have different contracts with rules and regulations, so we cannot advise you about specifics, so sit down with your contract and read through it, be aware of your responsibilities and take notes if need be. If you aquired your car through your company, you may wish to establish with them in they share in some of the costs.
Most lease companies are members of the BVRLA - British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association and work to thier guidelines. So if you haven't already been supplied with thier Fair Wear & Tear Standard we strongly suggest you aquire one as it's likely your contract will refer or be based on it.
