Day 2 - 28^th October

Up bright and early for Day 2 the start of the Navigational Rally. Being Team 10 we were the third car to set off which meant an 8.01 start. Each car started 30secs after the one in front and we all followed our Navigational Road Book which gave us step by step directions to each check-in point. "Ah, simple", I hear you all say, but trust me this was not the case. The trick is to never follow the person in front because if they get lost you get lost.

CHECK POINT 1 VILLA ALBRIZZI

Our first check point for day 1 was Villa Albrizzi in Treviso. The whole idea of the Navigational Rally is to make sure you go over the line at each check point not a second too early or a second to late, if you do it results in penalty points and nobody wants that. We left for the check point from our hotel in Venice East and made it over the line at the first check point dead on time, not a bad start.

CHECK POINT 2 CROCETTA DEL MONTELLO

Our second check point of Day 2 was a visit to Villa Sandi vineyards and cellars for a tour and some much needed wine tasting.

Our third and last check point of Day 2 was a trip to Castle Brando for some lunch in the castle.
