Car Protection
Q: Of the hundreds of lease cars we have inspected,
how many do you think were protected with a paint sealant?
A: Just one! And this lady had had the
car treated herself because she planned to buy the car at the end
of the lease.*
Many of the cars we have inspected would have been
in much better condition than they were had they been protected from
new with paint and fabric coatings.
Every day, hundreds of cars are treated with paint
sealants, they are more popular than ever, the reason for this is
that people have recognised that they protect the investment by keeping
the resale value of the car high. Although the lease car technically
belongs to the lease company, they will pass on the cost of devaluation
to you one way or the other.
Although a sealant won't protect paint from a
key-scratch, it will help reduce minor scratches and even stone chips
by making the paintwork stronger (This is especially true now since
softer acrylic paint became mandatory in 2007). Fabric coatings
will prevent permanent stains and make seats easier to clean -- this
all helps your drivers to manage their cars and avoid penalty charges
for minor damage.

*Here is a good idea! Why not negotiate the
purchase price of your cars at the start of the lease, this way,
if your drivers know they can buy the car at CAPS book price for
an average car, they will know that if they keep it in immaculate
condition, they will be buying themselves a bargain. |
