The Channels Complex is set in 300 acres of beautiful mature Essex parkland. A magnificent course, boasting some of the finest greens in the county, superbly managed and kept in peak condition. Being mainly on restored land, it is quite unique to Essex with its numerous lakes and undulating fairways.

• 2 courses, 27 holes:
  • Channels Course 18 holes, £40
  • Belsteads Course 9 holes, £15
• For experienced golfers with their own clubs
• Open 7:30am for breakfast
• Buggy £20 (only 15 available in the summer)
• Need to call to find out if there's any parties before arriving, preferably a couple of days in advance
• Recommended booking a starting time with Clean Image, leave yourself a few minutes
• Clean Image will provide a free meal at the club for customers coming from outside Essex. (Ask for voucher terms and conditions.)
  

Comments: "Take a lot of balls because you're going to need them unless you're Tiger Woods. There are plenty of waterholes and an island putting green. Not for beginners that's for sure."

"The best times for booking are Mondays to Thursdays and they don't take non members Saturdays and Sundays."
