The panel was starting to look half way decent (forgive the pun) but there is still room for improvement.

So Mark skipped the blue pad and moved straight to the green. You can see from this photo that he is wet buffing - its a technique which is more common in this country than the rest of the world, and more common among body shops than valet companies. It reduces heat and friction and in this case acts like another stage.

The panel is dried off with a microfibre cloth and is then ready for final polishing and application of a sealant.
