It was rather dull and overcast, and fairly windy – a good day to die! Five us from Clean Image were called along with several others and corralled into a pen so that we couldn’t escape while we were kitted out with safety gear and given instruction about how to abseil. There was much messing about accompanied by nervous laughter.

We were then called to go up to the top. We took the elevator most of the way but as we climbed the last few floors up the stairs we were able to look out of the windows. Only then did it really hit us that we were a very long way up!
Up on the roof, people went to the edge and peered over – I cannot repeat the language used to describe how most people felt.
