There was a scratch on the top of the door panel that was in a very visible place, the scratch hadn't gone through the clear coat lacquer and Willy hoped to remove it completely.
Before work began all the deep scratches were noted and given special attention. In the photo above willy points out what is left of the scratch... The camera didn't pick it up which isn't surprising as you had to look very closely to see it. The car was left with a very faint line about 12mm long where the scratch was deepest. We can do quite a lot with scratches as you will see later in this series of articles. It all depends on how deep they were to begin with.
